Hi all,

Another small update today. Spent about another 45 mins on this today, so up to nearly 2hrs in total now.

Quite happy with how things are coming along wioth it now. However comments and crits are always welcomed please.

Another quick update, an additional 30mins modeling today.

Starting to get a bit happier with the mesh, however still far from happy with it.

Another model that i'm working on at the moment. Very early stages still, about 30mins modeling so far. I'm not very happy with my mesh flow to be honest atm, and may re-do if i can't salvage it.

Anyway here's a few screenys... Plus a few updates on the AA gun too

Hi all,

Due to all the bank holidays, setting up new work machine and just general busy work schedule I've not posted here in a while.

Form the past few lunches I've been working on improving my hard surface modeling skills by following a tutorial from http://cg.tutsplus.com.

I'm about 1hour in so far. To be honest I've not learnt as much as I was hoping, in all honestly most of the skills covered, I was already pretty clued up on. It has however given me a much better understanding of edge placement.

I'm going to continue with the tut, then I'm thinking of modelling a battle ship of somesort to place the AA gun on.

Anyway enough ramblings... here's a few screenshots of where I am at the min
